3D Printing For Good
CREATE Center for the Arts is your community hub for 3D printing personal
protective equipment for Coachella Valley front line health care workers.
Here is how you can help...
Help us grow our efforts!
Donations help us purchase the necessary filament and other essentials needed for this project.
3D Printer Registration
When assisting with the 3D Printing of Face Shields:
Before printing please make sure your print bed and surrounding area are clean.
Once printed, only remove finished prints while wearing gloves and a mask and deposit directly into gallon bags in quantities of no more than 10.
Clearly mark each bag with large bold characters with the following information:
The DATE the items were printed, and
The MATERIAL (PLA or PETG) utilized, and
Your PRINTER ID so we know where they were printed (after registering with CREATE you will receive your PRINTER ID)
- The QUANTITY in the bag on the upper right corner
DROP your clearly marked bags off at CREATE Center for the Arts
10 AM – 4 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday
or Contact CREATE and arrange an appointment for pick-up.
Your Support Protects Our Community
Each donations matter, even the smallest ones. Your support helps us purchase materials, power our printers, and provide protection and support to our local medical personnel.
To make the face shields up to the highest standards, we need donations of 1.75 PETG 3D Printing Filament, Fellowes binder covers for the shield section of the mask, and more 3D Printers.
We are looking for 9 additional printers. Each is capable of printing about 20 shields per day. Please ship directly to CREATE or drop off during support hours. Each supporter that contributes a printer will be added to our tech lab wall of fame.
